Sweetie Belle has gotten separated from her friends. By Celestia it’s so easy to get turned around in these awful woods! The Everfree Forest has many threats, and she’s a ways away from Zecora’s house, so she’s a little worried she might run into some nasty creature. She’s made all the more nervous when she hears a lot of rustling around her, and as a shadow looms over her, she turns around to be face to face with this big half-pony half-snake!
At this point, Sweetie Belle is probably quite scared that this snake pony is going to gobble her up for a quick meal!
But don’t worry SB, you’re far too small for a snack… (Also Saria doesn’t eat ponies, but the little unicorn doesn’t know that yet.)

Saria would probably end up escorting the unicorn home to Ponyville where it’s safe. However, I could totally see her making SB sweep her floors or, brush her tail or something, as a minor punishment for wandering out into the forest without supervision. After all, she could have been attacked if a more hostile creature had found her first!
So a little bit of chores to drive home her point wouldn’t hurt.

Just a cute little idea that I had a whim to draw. Turned out pretty well and was a good way to kill some time.
I may have freaked out some of my friends in one of my discord server by abbreviating the description to just the “don’t worry, you’re too small for a snack” line and they thought I was trying to imply vore lol.
But no, Saria will make sure the kid is safe, and her friends, too! She’ll just give their sisters an earful for letting the three of them wander out alone.

Also, I made an… alternate version. Because I had to XD
I also quite liked the normal version but with the alternate expression? and wasn’t sure which I liked better, but I left it in here as another alt.
