To be fair to the others, Twilight only just revealed this new resolve of not letting her worries get to her. She’s had a bad history of falling to pieces when things go wrong, and if she knew how badly things at the Summer Sun Celebration were going behind her back, it might cause a relapse. So while it was a bad idea for the others to not be honest with her, they had, in my opinion, a plausible reason to do what they did. Does it make it right? No, but it’s important to understand where they were coming from.
