Description

When Chrysalis and Autumn first met, Chrysalis was in very bad shape. Extremely malnourished from lack of food and love, her condition wasn’t the best and was barely hanging by a thread to life. Autumn, wandering the woods stumbled on Chrysalis fainted next to some shrubs. Being kirin that she is, Autumn took her in and brought her to the village. The Kirin being so far from civilization didn’t know what Chrysalis was or who she was, so Rain Shine, the leader of the Kirin allowed Autumn to house Chrysalis and tend to her as one of their own.
At first Chrysalis was wary of the Kirin, fearing that the would know who she was and alert one of the Princessess about her, but no. They were friendly and hospitable, and talked a little too much. Of course the Kirin were curious as what kind of creature she was, but in the state she was in too much interaction was draining. The first few interactions with Autumn and Chrysalis were not easy, hissing and hiding in a corner were some of the casualties. But over time, Autumn managed to come close to Chrysalis, a little too close. Chrysalis at first thought of having Autumns trust and take over her village, but she was too nice and so warm that she couldn’t bring herself to do it. As they grew closer, Autumn considered, and declared that she and Chrysalis would be mates. Feeling the same, Chrysalis agreed without a peep.
The road to recovery is a tough one. Chrysalis was bed bound for a long while, her magic was weak, she couldn’t transform and she only had one wing. Chrysalis through all this felt embarrassed and self-conscious of how she looked and the state of her well-being, that she would have terrible night where she would wake up crying. In those nights, Autumn would cuddle Chrysalis close to her and do what she did best, sing.
