It’s funny how Storm King and Queen Opaline are very similar in a way! They are both evil tyrants who have proteges they use with the promise of a “reward”. Misty with getting a cutie mark, and Tempest Shadow with getting her horn restored. However, neither of them intended to give them what they want, as they are only using them for their own gains, to gain power. LOL! These two are EXTREMELY similar. xD

Yeah. I don’t know why that prior to the events of the movie, the Storm King have abandoned his realm when he goes to Equestria to invade/rule by capturing and enslaving all the inhabitants, overthrow the four princesses, drain their magic with his staff, and us it to enslave and destroy Equestria. And after the Storm King’s demise, his realm that he left behind is still standing and maybe there were a minority of Storm Creatures still in the realm and still at large.
