We upload pretty much every pony-related image we can find, and give it an artist tag for recognition. It’s almost never an insult, as it gives free publicity and the uploader usually credits the correct artist. Asking for permission is seen as taking forever, which sometimes it does.

If you don’t want people uploading your art, just message an admin and explain that you’re the artist and don’t want your pictures on the site, and almost always the mods will comply.
