Starting to read this fanfiction, I couldn’t even think how much I’d get involved and fall in love with this world and its heroes. This is exactly the kind of story that, after reading, leaves the question: “How to live on, without a couple of chapters of this masterpiece a day?” and the desire to erase your memories just to read it again. Of the ending of the fic, even my eyes got wet.
Opinions may be different, but I couldn’t help but fall in love with Littlepip, and even more so with her perfectly prescribed squad(I’m reading the Project Horizons now, and there’s the same situation).
This art was conceived as just a sketch, but I got carried away again (how many times am I already writing this?). And it would be wrong to devote just a sketch to this. And for the first time in my life I’m trying to draw not anthropony, it seems to have turned out pretty.
It’s not tat bad. Maybe too long a bit… Okay definitely too long but very interesting. It’s funny that original FoE looks so short compared with Horizons.
In the whole schooling I read less than in these half a year
A masterclass of storytelling with deep and emotionally-driven characters struggling to try and find a place for themselves in a world left shattered by War and mired in paranoia and distrust where even helping out a complete stranger from a similar predicament would result in them turning their guns on you immediately. Filled with history at every turn as the prologue to the apocalypse we’ve found ourselves wandering into is told out through the environment and through the records of those who were there on that fateful Last Day; how they loved, how they laughed, how they despaired and how they died. It is a story that means to actually tell a story and spread a message.
