I am Polish and November 11th is the most important day for my country. On that day, Poland regained its independence.
102 years ago, on November 11, 1918, Poland regained independence. On that day, freed from the Magdeburg Fortress, Józef Piłsudski took over the military power from the Regency Council, after three days civil power, and finally “as the Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Army […] he would notify the governments and neutral and militant nations” the return of the “Polish Reborn and Independent Republic” on world map. After 123 years, Poland became a sovereign state, regaining its subjectivity in the international arena.
