You know, this makes me think about Rarity’s comment waaay back in Season 1 about how griffons are supposedly rare. Gilda’s reason for being in Griffonstone being “I’m a griffon” implies that it’s the default place for griffons to be, and there is no way that town’s population is over 50.

Are griffons endangered?
