It’s the AU where Blueblood and Pinkie Pie are still together living in Ponyville.
I hope there aren’t that many typos, I keep re-reading the whole text but my eyes are completely fried.

It’s been a while since Pinkie Pie was seen around in Ponyville. She’s been in Canterlot for almost half a decade now and she decided it was too much.
After a tough discussion with duke Blueblood she packed her bags and she came back home with Candy Cane.
Candy was so happy to see her friends again, it had been so long! She always loved to hang around at Applejack’s with Bright Pink, he got so big during those five years. It’s almost unbelievable to think that she used to be taller before leaving for Canterlot.

For a couple of months it was just Pinkie and Candy, then Blueblood knocked at their door with his bags at his side. He left his job and gave up on their big mansion as he felt like maybe the problem wasn’t his relationship with Pinkie but rather their environment…

The family was reunited!

Pinkie Pie was always running around, whether it’d be to visit other members of the main six or go work at Sugarcube corner with Pound Cake.
Blueblood was mostly a stay at home dad, learning how to cook for the family, taking care of the house chores and making sure Candy Cane did her homework.

On his second week in the village Blueblood was making a snack for Pinkie Pie, he didn’t know much about cooking at that time so all he could whip up was a simple hay sandwich. Unfortunately Pinkie and Candy Cane left in a hurry for a playdate at the farm. He tried to catch up with them but he wasn’t familiar with Ponyville yet and had a hard time finding them. Thankfully the ponies in town were kind enough to give him directions, it felt weird and unusual that none of these ponies addressed him in a way that reflects his title… it almost felt nice? At that moment he felt like moving in this tiny village was the definitely the right decision.

On his way to Sweet Apple Acres he realised that he had not meet the other members of the main six since what felt like eons… he had a vague memory of a distant gala but he wasn’t sure. They got so famous since then that he felt intimidated thinking he might meet Applejack at the farm. Blueblood never really thought about it when it comes to Pinkie, she doesn’t talk about it and he never thought of asking any questions.
There he was, walking all alone in that small village with his pityfull sandwich going to see two legends at the most rustic farm he’s ever seen.

Upon arriving he saw Candy Cane and another pink kid he assumed was Bright Pink running away through the fields and nearing the house’s door was Pinkie and an orange mare. She was huge, her coat srpinkled with battle scars. Now THAT is a pony that can defeat all those villains who came to destroy the world…
He approched timidly and was welcomed warmly by the two mares. Pinkie thanked him for the sandwich and gave him a kiss on the cheek, Blueblood wasn’t paying enough attention to what she was saying but got the sense that she was trying to show him off. Honestly he was too focused on Applejack, almost studying her. He couldn’t help but notice that she was even taller than him.
Candy Cane bumped into him while running which caused him to come back to his senses. She fell but quickly jumped back on her hooves and left just as quickly as she came.

Blueblood realised what just happened and excused himself to go back home.

He thought going to Ponyville would make sure that no distractions could ever drive him and Pinkie away, after only a couple of weeks he understood that he was deeply wrong…
