As for Tyrant!Celestia…yeah, I didn’t want it to go that way, I always saw it as eddwardh said - she remained true to her principles of friendship and harmony. I don’t see her as the villain at all in this story, just a defender of an old order that is being swept aside by a tide of change.
 
I might actually go and write the bloody thing now…

Mine would have been Applejack as the Dovakiin. All three DLCs included.
 
Things between her and Spike became incredibly awkward.

Is it really Tyrant!Celestia? It seems to me that both sides stuck to their principles but were unwilling to listen to what the other had to say, eventually driving them apart. It didn’t help that Luna and Twilight were making negotiations with foreign powers without cluing Clestia in on anything.

Went well, then spiraled into Tyrant!Celestia.
