Description
part 1: meeting henry Jekyll
It was an average day at the pub for Elizabeth with one difference, Edward’s friend, henry Jekyll, was coming to visit.
Elizabeth waited for him to come over then she heard the door; she saw a stallion wave at her and came over.
She waved back and asked.
“Are you henry Jekyll?”
The stallion smiled.
“Yes, I’m henry Jekyll; it’s nice to meet you, Elizabeth.”
Elizabeth smiled back.
“It’s nice to meet you too.”
Henry sat down; they had conversations about the pub and the house and henry’s and Edward’s friends.
“Do you work on the house too, henry, when some of your friends go to work?” asked Elizabeth
“Yes.” Henry responded. “Sometimes I travel to work as well. I help in a restaurant, cleaning tables, floors and shelves. Ideally, I would like a well-paying job, but I can still afford food and supplies for everyone at home. Right now, we can do with candles until we figure out how to install lights.”
“Oh, I hope you find a way to get them.” Said Elizabeth
Elizabeth looked outside for a moment and saw the snow falling, and a question came to her mind.
“Henry, since it’s almost hearth’s warming eve, I wonder; if I could give a gift to you, Edward, Adam, Griffin Thomas, Erik, Matthew, his mom and Dracula?” Questioned Elizabeth.
“That sounds like a great idea!” Exclaimed Henry. Edward, too, felt the same.
Yet both wondered if it was too much for Elizabeth.
Elizabeth assured Henry that she would be fine but would still need help getting gifts and packing material from the shops. Yet asked if Edward or anyone else would like to help.
Henry reassures her that Edward would love to help, and they plan a time to go and help each other in buying the gifts.
Henry and Elizabeth talked about what could be the best presents to give to their friends.
Henry then lists his ideas of what his friends might enjoy as gifts.
“I like a pocket watch to keep track of time.”
“Edward would like a board game or an entertaining book.”
“Adam seemed to enjoy cooking, a cookbook and some kitchen supplies.”
“Griffin would like clothes that cover him better because he has albinism and needs to protect his skin.”
“Thomas might like a crowbar; it could help him get rid of the aged wood in the house.”
“Maybe Erik would like a beautiful landscape painting in his room.”
“Matthew would probably like a sketchbook and drawing tools; maybe this could help him somehow. He has plans to own a toy shop. His mother might want a new dress too.”
“Finally, for Dracula, perhaps a new carpet will do if that is all right?”
“Of course.” Said Elizabeth. “I’m sure they will like the gifts.”
Henry and Elizabeth continued their conversation about other matters until it was time for Henry to leave.
He and Edward knew they could do a great job, though a question had presented itself to Edward and henry. What would they give Elizabeth?
part 2: a present for Elizabeth
Later that day, at about five o’clock, Edward was sitting in bed in his room, thinking about what to give Elizabeth.
He thought many times until he remembered how much she loved flowers. “Haha, I got it!” Cried Edward, sitting up straight.
“She said she needed something to water the flowers. Maybe I could give her a watering can.”
Edward knew his idea would be great, but it had to be beautiful. He couldn’t give her just any watering can.
Although there was one small problem, he had no idea where they would sell flowers and watering cans.
Then he thought.
He asked either Dracula, Thomas or Erik since they had lived in the town longer than he and his friends had.
He searched the whole house. He turned to Thomas and found that Thomas was busy helping Adam clean the basement. He made his way to Dracula’s room. When he remembered Dracula was sleeping, he went looking for Erik.
He knocked on Erik’s door.
“Come in.” Erik said behind the door.
“Hello Erik.” Edward said.
“Hello, Edward. How are you?” Erik replied.
“I’m fine; I need to ask you for a Favour.” I need help with something. Said, Edward.
“What’s wrong?” Ask Erik.
“I’m planning to give Elizabeth a gift. I want to provide her with a watering can for her flowers.”
“I like to buy a watering can from a shop that sells flowers, yet I don’t know where such a store is in pasture valley.”
Erik smiled, thought, and he spoke.
“Maybe there is one in the town Center. There is a big fountain and lots of shops. Many plants surround a brown building. Perhaps it could be the place to find a flower shop?”
“I’m heading to town for more supplies. Would you like to come with me?” Erik asked.
“Yes, thank you, Erik!” Said, Edward.
Erik smiled. “You’re welcome.”
They packed their bags and left home.
They made it to the town center.
As they looked around, they soon spotted a brown building, wrapped in bushes, flowers and a sign that said.

“Well, this must be the place.” Said Erik.
“I’m going to buy food and cutlery. I’ll see you soon, good luck, Edward.” Said, Erik.
“Thank you, Erik.” Replied Edward.
They both went their separate ways, and Edward entered the store.
After looking around the store, Edward saw what he was looking for; and why he was there.
He found the watering cans!
They were shiny copper watering cans, but they had the color of gold, with ornate flowers on them.
They were perfect; he grabbed one and a gardening book of flowers and went to the cash register.
After buying the presents, he saw Erik again and showed him what he had gotten.
Erik was happy for Edward, and both went back home.
After returning home, Edward put the present on top of his desk, so he could wrap it once he found the wrapping materials.
Elizabeth is sure to love it.

man, i hope I’ve improved the writing but Ya, Edward wants to give Elizabeth a pretty watering can, yes, it’s unconventional but she would want one for her flowers.
also, Edward will help Elizabeth by both buying stuff for their friends this will take a week, so they have more days to spend together, hopefully i will do it right.
