Greetings everypony! Darkblaze here sharing another awesome art piece I’ve received. This is part one of a two-piece commission I ordered from fellow DeviantArt user Little Tigress featuring two of my personal OCs – Jasper Darkblaze and Aurora Honeyblossom – captured in anthro form for the first time (well, second time for Jasper). Here, we can see the two friends spending some quality time together at the beach on a beautiful sunny day, with Aurora taking the time to protect her fur-covered skin from the harsh rays of the sun while Jasper splays out across the sand, immersed in the story featured in his book.

I am completely blown away with how awesome this piece came together, being able to watch it start as a rough sketch of my idea to becoming more fully fleshed-out with time. The artist managed to capture the scene exactly as I envisioned it with the amount of detail they were able to fit into a seemingly simple scene. From the shading and highlights on the characters themselves to the incredibly pristine water effects, everything about this commission is absolutely worth commending.
