In fact dealing with Russian artists can be very cheap for foreigners because Ruble is the most underrated currency in the world (at least in 2 times) and for Russian artists who take payment in USD it’s very profitable.

I was the chief editor and I recommended Kirilk to the author and he was the first artist we contacted and we literally could not communicate. lost in literal translation.
Note that this was 8 years ago so his english might be better ( my russian remains nonexistent) and I am actually one of Kirilk’s patreons, but I have never communicated with him since.
