My thoughts on Death Battle: Raven vs. Twilight
As many of you all know, Screw Attack has made another Death Battle with ponies in it. Raven, Teen Titans sorceress vs Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship. Many of you had seen the trailers, previews, and outcome of the fight. Before the previews, I told my big sister about the fight because she is a big Teen Titans fan(The original, not Teen Titans Go) and her favorite character is Raven. I myself felt a little connected to Twilight and favors Raven as well.
Of course this is before the fight and the info on each of the characters. I thought at the time that the magic of friendship will beat the magic of raw emotions that Raven use. So when the battle ended, it left me thinking and I wasn’t upset of the outcome.
Was I disappointed? No. Did I hope it ended differently? Nope. Because it balance out, Rainbow wins in her Death Battle, it’s a tie with Pinkie and Deadpool, and Twilight lose to the superior magic user. Just because a pony lost a Death Battle doesn’t mean the Brony will get disappoint or upset. I read the comments and was really proud of everyone taking it in a mature manner instead of leaving comments like the fans for the Goku vs. Super Man. It shows that we are all sensible beings and respect the outcome as it is.
As for my sister, she was really happy to hear that her favorite Teen Titan had won. And seeing her happy, makes me happy.
