Was she executed via short drop or long drop?
In her canon death (per the artist/oc owner) her wings are bound when she’s hung. I do believe she murdered her commanding officer to get this punishment.
If the mob tries to do her in with a long drop, she may have enough rope to land with all four hooves away from the trap door and delay things long enough for the mob to shift loyalties. A short drop, not so much.
Flying will just delay the inevitable. Like a Sim in a swimming pool, she’ll tire herself out, eventually giving in to the fatigue and/or sleepiness, then it’ll be all over for her.

Actually they seem kinda useless/clueless and lazy, they are glorified mall security from what we see… Even the future episodes! They’re only getting their butt kicked in the Sombra future, everywhere else it was the civilian ponies fighting!
