So…what’s the conclusion?
Can We draw a conclusion on the amount of the our Twilight Sparkle art and compare it with other characters?🤔(those sites don’t work so well for me)
Edit: almost forgot, there’s another way to check the amount of actual art of her here. Try doing a random check in a certain amount of pictures posted during a period of time. I did it halfway and it turned out that they made a difference but still not significant enough to cut it down below 200k

There’s lots of other non-screencap stuff that can be tagged Twilight Sparkle that e621 doesn’t consider art, like official comic pages/panels, exploitable memes, vectors (and vector comics), merchandise, RL pictures, defictionalized items, image compilations, advertisements, show-writer comments, soapboxes, and more. They’re also much less accepting of art pieces with tons of variants, AI generated images, and 3D models that aren’t presented as art. They also don’t allow edits (including colorizations and sound edits) to other peoples’ art, but Derpibooru does (assuming it’s okay with the author).

Derpibooru does have significantly more pony art, but the difference isn’t as big as just removing images tagged with screencap implies.

Okay, then let’s just eliminate the screenshots. Searching by tags twilight sparkle , NOT screencap
And we still get 282,000+ results.
About low-quality art, yes, we can’t eliminate them because there’s no specific tag for it. But if we at least assume that 50% is low quality art. we still get 140,000.
To get a result of 34,000 as in e621, we have to assume that 87% of Twilight art is low quality. Which cannot be true.

Rule34.paheal and/or rule34.xxx are the only valid measurements for something like this. And Twilight still holds that crown handily.

Well e621 has an art quality standard so low quality art isn’t allowed in theory (course what this means is more up to the mods), and yeah stuff like screenshots aren’t really art which make up a lot of the images on Derpi.

I’m not terribly familiar with e621’s standards, but also can imagine them not allowing nearly as many variants as derpi does.

I like the idea that Judy Hopps and Twilight are good friends.

True, though e621 does have a higher quality bar than Derpi so not everything is allowed to be uploaded there (whereas p much any screenshot of MLP can be uploaded on Derpi). Still probably a lot of valid Twi images here that aren’t there though :p
