Description
Hey everyone,
So this is the redesign of my older dragon OC, Malachite. Finally, I got it done… Thank the Gods for that!
I told you Avalanche wasn’t the only dragoness I had on the roster!
Seriously though, This was a real challenge for me to do as the original base was so damn blurry that I couldn’t really make out some of the features properly, and had to kinda figure out some Dragon anatomy along the way.
Additionally, I ended up starting from scratch a few times when I realised that I didn’t like the direction that the image or even the base were going. Also, mottled effects like this are a bitch, and took ages to do. I think all told, from the initial concept through to completion, took me the best part of 32 hours on and off, spread over weeks.
I’ll be revisiting this character’s bio soon, as I feel it could do with a huge update and revision.
