Here’s a little drawing of mine, featuring cub Gabby and one of her childhood friends (and newest OC of mine), Buckeye Bolt (or Bucky-Bolty-Buddy as Gabby sometimes likes to call him). Buckeye is a young pegasus colt about the same age as Gabby and Gallus and Gabby’s childhood friend and “boyfriend”. Gabby tends to fall in love easily, especially as a young cub and usually with someone unexpected as regarded by Griffon society, Buckeye Bolt being one of them. He’s playful, sweet-natured, fun-loving, and kind. He doesn’t say much and usually responds with nods, mumbles, and hums (or in most cases he doesn’t NEED to say anything). Even as a teenager, he talks more but likes to remain quiet. Bucky and Gabby met each other during a visit to Gilda and Gerard’s school in Cloudsdale Gabby paid with Grandpa Gruff. As young kids, the two loved hanging out and playing together whenever either Bucky came to Griffinstone or Gabby came to Cloudsdale and referred to each other as “boyfriend and girlfriend”, with Gabby claiming that “they had pledged their hearts to each other”. The adults gamely played along and listened to the two children’s funny stories of their “relationship”, as it was way too adorable for them to deny. As grown kids, they’re still very good friends and get along very well, having a good laugh with their childhood “romantic chemistry”. Hope you like it! ^^
