On the other hand, Misty could be Alphabittle’s daughter, and Alphabittle are so close to Queen Haven, so… Yeah, Mitsy is the princess ⊙ω⊙

Also Opaline is not a Queen as she is not recognised as a ruler by literally anyone than herself.

Misty is not a Princess as we never had any proof they see eachother as mother and adoptive daughter. Misty might as she at least draw crayon pictures of Opaline so there might be some bond from her part, but we don’t know if Opaline just see Misty as a servant and sidekick. Basically a phrase like “mom” or “daughter” need to be used or it’s all a headcanon of a fanfic writer.

Aside from this being probably someone’s silly edit,
Misty was technically Opaline’s adopted daughter and I am sure that Opaline sees herself as a queen, so calling Misty, Princess Misty Arcana, makes some sense. With that said, it was never established in show canon that this is how it works and the use of last names for ponies is still a riddle.
