Description
Here is a rendering of the entire MLP G4 planet Equus as it might appear from space! This is actually an addon for the free spaceflight simulator Orbiter 2010 which you can download. I created it by taking the G4 movie map, extending the margins with some geological guesswork to reach width twice the polar length of the map, then painting land biomes onto the canvas. Finally, an atmosphere photorealistic to the show was rendered along with clouds. Specific view configuration information can be seen in the upper left and upper right of the image.
You can download the planet! https://www.orbiter-forum.com/resources/equus-the-my-little-pony-planet-for-orbiter-2010.3400/
There’s even a demo video of the planet in simulation! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9QZNwibIHw
Some stats about the planet as simulated:
Radius 0.4 Earths (estimated from cannon travel times)
Rotation period 25 hours (guess based on the general tendency of smaller objects to spin slower)
Axial tilt 19.7 degrees (estimated based on the comparatively mellow seasons in Ponyville, a location far from any ocean)
Atmosphere 0.99 bar (estimated based on air currents and their effects in the show. This means Pegasi flight is accomplished through magic, not air displacement)
Surface gravity 0.45G (the best I could do given the small radius)
The sun is a class G7V (derived from spectrum of the on-screen sun in the show)

This view is roughly centered on Rambling Rock Ridge, with North being straight up. You can see as far north as the North Pole, as far South as Klugetown from the 2017 movie, as far East as Griffinstone, and west to the undiscovered regions.
