Poor toys, sigh.

…but ‘Filly’ is not a bootleg of ‘My Little Pony’. It just happens to be made by ‘Simba’ but the idea belongs to ‘Dracco’. It was the other Simba’s toys (two sets of them) that were noticed by Hasbro and, well… it was a very bad and unfortunate story. And the toys looks like copies of G3 ‘MLP’. On the other hand, ‘Filly’ looks nothing like any of gens of ‘MLP’, look at their heads, eyes, hooves, size, etc. And I don’t think it’s possible to reuse the mold of the very big toys like G3 ‘My little pony’ dolls are, for such a small toy like Filly. It doesn’t sound like it’s logical, honestly.  
‘Simba’ made the toys to look like the characters ‘Dracco’ requested, I suppose. And the bootlegs of ‘Simba’ on the other hand were made without a further thought, and ‘Filly’ has a very big, detailed, deep story. It doesn’t feel like a copy. Even the magic the characters have is used differently. And so on. Not to mention that ‘Filly’ is licensed. I suppose, it’s not a very well-known fact?  
The tag ‘barely pony related’ fits as these characters are horselike (that means, not even the horses).

I actually really like these toys.

Either I misunderstood what you said or you are a bit uninformed since Fluttershy has had her own mold for a while already so it’s not just a recolored RD anymore.

I was almost scared that Stuart wouldn’t be able to torch that abomination. Still, at least the flocking and the little glass… thing gives it something on our blind bags. There’s at least the impression that they give at least half a damn considering poor Fluttershy still doesn’t even have her own cast and yet we have Flim and freaking Flam.
