I got to Act 4. I tried to give it a chance beyond Act 1 (the basic “trust me, it gets better”), and while it wasn’t bad, I didn’t feel compelled to keep reading beyond the free afternoon I had. I guess it’s just not for me.

Oh trust me dude I know exactly what you’re talking about, I myself came in right as PS was ending, so while the user submissions were fun at the time, from a storytelling perspective it’s not the most exciting thing in the world, unless you have a very specific kind of humor. (it doesn’t hurt that I actually do have that kind of humor as well sooooo)

The thing is, the first act is boring. The downside of still being run on user suggestions and having to build up the massive universe and its mechanics. Plus, not everyone has the patience to read several thousand pages, especially when many of the pages are flash animations, walkarounds, a couple hundred words of dialogue, etc.
 
Honestly, the only reason why I can even enjoy it is because 1. I read Problem Sleuth first, and 2. I’ve been there since the beginning of the comic.

How far did you read into it? Because if you didn’t finish Act 1 then you didn’t get to the interesting parts yet.

Depending on whether or not you consider the more psycho versions of Pinkamina to be canon, she might actually be a Rage player.

Pinkie’s more of a Rogue of Life, IMO.
