Self-harming behaviours happens to people of all ages, and even once clean people relapse even decades later. You’re never too old to be victim to these urges, even if it admittedly feels like it sometimes. Mental health problems stick with us for life, you can’t be blamed just for having symptoms. Keep fighting to be clean, and never feel ashamed to be fighting this battle, no matter how long it takes.
