What do you mean? Robot girls are the height of class! I just so happened to come up when teen and children’s media was actually written to be good, or goofy, or some combination thereof. Ever since mainstream animation/comics studios discovered flash and TvT they’ve largely been neither. That includes the ridiculous-as-fuck idea that immediately after changelings and their powers are revealed they would be so quick to turn on each other even faster than if they were Discorded.  
I just plain loathe shit writing no matter where it appears. Comics, shows, movies, opera, theatre, I’ll tackle it wherever it surfaces! And that was only the most overt piece of suckitude the comics shoved down our throats.

If you mean they’re written like Katie is cookin’ some dope, then yeah, that works.  
Ish 2+3 were merri-tier, and I haven’t read the main line since. And the RBD micro made me want snort my own dope through a Sig Sauer. (Twily micro was ok, but kind of made no sense since everyone seemed to know who Jade Singer really was from the beginning.)

That’s because official Sonic has been nothing but bad fanfic since SA2.  
Pony is just trying to get there faster, between the shitacular comics, Merriwether episodes, and now Equestria Girls. Next step: A spinoff involving multicoloured alicorn princesses based on the remaining Elements who’re all stronger and awsmr than Twilight.

I don’t think we read fanfiction because of the shipping fuel, anon. Least I don’t. If you find the right writers, sometimes the fiction really is just better. Sometimes. I will give the movie a chance, but I’ll probably want to commit sudoku and die of arithmetic afterwards.

Oh, God, we’ve reached that point, where people are saying fanfiction is better. The MLP fanbase is now rivaling the Sonic fanbase in “whiny butt-hurt-ness.”
 
Honestly, I’m not bothered by this thing’s existence. (It could be worse.) If you all hate it so much DON’T WATCH IT, and continue to read your beloved crappy fanfics full of forced-‘shipping, cussing, things that would never happen in the show, OCs, and every character becoming a lesbian for no reason, and such.
 
I like some fanfics, and I’ve read some great ones, but alot are just full of pointless ’shipping-fetish fuel. (No offense, but I just believe the “mane 6” should remain “just friends” with each other.)

The whole thing is just agonizing. I just want to get it out of the way so I can forget it exists and go back to comics and fanfiction.

The “official synopsis” stated and the trailer implied that ONLY Twilight went to the human world (hence her shocked appearance at seeing “Pinkie Pie,” and moreover, why would FS know to use utensils but Twi wouldn’t?), however, this and something else I’ve read said that it’s the actual Mane 6.
