I don’t think it make much sense to see it like that. The way i see it, it’s just a matter of personal interpretation. Some people feel sadness, other feel serenity. Personally i feel like it have a melancholic vibe. It just varies from one individual to another.
Regardless, telling peoples what they should and shouldn’t feel while watching art is not very clever. It kinda defeat the whole point of it.
