I would guess it’s because it has a more unified direction (at least, ANG and MYM, considering that Gillian Berrow wrote for the former, and was the head writer for the latter), but who knows.
Moons were deliberately never quantified in G4 because it was written by many different freelancers and had very little in the way of unified story direction, so they didn’t want to pin themselves down with inconsistencies or contradictions if later episodes occurred at different points on the (extremely amorphous) timeline, but they seem to have stopped caring about that with G5?
