I can think of a few ways.
A Spirit/Soul version of the mane 6 (g4) acting as mentors or a guide to solving a problem.
A non-canonical special that doesn’t consider itself with aligning with lore.
Except that Alicorns aren’t immortal (since they still need to breathe, sleep, eat, and can get hurt) like Discord, and Twilight is long dead with her friends.
It’s been like a thousand years since g4 so unless they’re in some kind of non-magic dependant stasis or something, they’re probably long dead with at most, Twi being the only one left since it seems those who become immortal via magic stayed immortal(in terms of living forever) due to Discord’s pressence, and while the comics typically aren’t canon, if they are or it’s the angle they lean on, Fluttershy is confirmed long dead so idk if that’d work.
