Backstory: Jasmine got her name when she was born in a garden in Ponyville. A nurse claimed that Jasmine was as beautiful as the jasmine flower. Years later, Jasmine had developed a passion for writing romance stories after her experiences with having crushes on other ponies, especially Pee-wee Herman. Her sweet and bubbly personality towards other ponies who enjoyed her works was how she earned her cutie mark. Despite that, though, she wasn’t afraid to be harsh and stern whenever ponies were rude to her or those she cared about. Even if her crushes won’t reciprocate her feelings, Jasmine hopes that one day, she’ll find somepony she loves.

I had a difficult time coming up with a design and backstory for this OC, so I hope you can forgive me for that Sweating a little… I originally wanted this OC to be Melody Everbelle’s cousin, but I’m not so sure if I want that to happen yet. Shrug
