When Giant Ponies and Creatures Attack - Episode 14 - Fire Flare, the Pony of Destruction
Summary: Twilight Sparkle and Rarity fight against a giant evil Fire Flare as things turn into a very heated battle in San Francisco during the night.
Twilight Sparkle has been very successful defeating her fallen friends and allies with the help from Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Fluttershy the past three days. Now, it is nighttime in San Francisco, the clock was 8:00 and she and Rarity are MTK Restaurant and Bar.
“I just love how they serve french fries at this place, darling!” Rarity was enjoying the food that the restaurant. She and Twilight both have the same meal: french fries and water.
“That was why I wanted dinner with you somewhere during the night where we can eat together!” Twilight Sparkle said with happiness, so lucky that they have fries, something she has been loving for a long time.
“Funny, that you’ve placed ketchup on yours and I have mine simple and plain.” Rarity told Twilight Sparkle, laughing that there’s a difference between her fries and Twilight’s fries.
Twilight Sparkle drinks some water a little with her magic, getting thirsty.
“Hey, how come you haven’t drank any water ever since we came?” Twilight Sparkle asked Rarity, seeing that Rarity has not been thirsty, at least not yet. “We’ve been in this restaurant for almost an hour, and all you have done was just eating for these past couple minutes.”
Rarity brushes her mane with a hairbrush upon hearing what Twilight Sparkle was telling her exactly right now at this time.
“Oh, I was, um, actually gonna save the water for last.” Rarity told Twilight Sparkle, deciding that she will save the water for the last. “I wanna get through these fries first and then I can have me some water…”
“You can’t just eat all your meal and then drink last. That’s not how it works.” Twilight Sparkle reminded Rarity that nobody should finish all their food before drinking.
“Unless you don’t really want me to drink anything, then I guess I’d be alright without drinking any water.” Rarity responded back, having made her final decision that she is not thirsty, actually.
Twilight Sparkle let out a sigh, never seeing Rarity declining an offer where she wouldn’t drink anywhere, especially in public.
Twenty-eight minutes later, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle have left the restaurant and they sure seem like they both have enjoyed themselves having dinner together this late at night. Nevertheless, it was really beautiful the two ponies would eat in a while.
“Thanks for taking me at that place!” Rarity appreciated Twilight Sparkle for going out with her for dinner following the news that the latter having accomplished a mission.
“No problem, Rarity! I could take you at this restaurant some time in the future whenever I decide we should go at this excellent place again.” Twilight Sparkle smiles at Rarity with a wide grin and her eyes closed.
“What a shame that Spike never goes out with me where we can eat together anywhere.” Rarity recalls herself that she never took Spike out for lunch, dinner at any restaurants, cafes, etc. “Especially the other way around… Even though he is my friend, I have never had the chance to take him out to eat, as we never promised each other on that part…”
Twilight Sparkle understands how Rarity feels that she and Spike never eat in public together, although they still do other fun things in particular.
“I’m sure you two may eat somewhere at a different restaurant.” Twilight Sparkle told Rarity, feeling confident that Rarity and Spike might take each other out for lunch, dinner, whatever the type of meal they prefer the most.
“Yeah, I guess you have a point. Maybe Spike and me will eat together in the future.” Rarity said, appreciating Twilight Sparkle for giving her some advice.
Both Rarity and Twilight Sparkle resume walking on the streets of San Francisco, seeing the Bay Bridge nearby, and they could walk through the bridge and they could go somewhere at this time and leave San Francisco just right now. However, they couldn’t leave just now as they felt the ground shaking a little below them.
“Umm, do you believe where’s that sound coming from?” Rarity asked Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight Sparkle shrugged and was not sure where the sound exactly came from, but just as they moved before, they saw people screaming and running away. Panic was over the city as it appears San Francisco is under attack.
“Run! Run! A giant pony is on the loose! Run for your lives!” A woman wearing a yellow dress with a matching hat with a purple flower on it shouted.
“Everyone, get moving now!” A man yelled, ordering everybody to get out the way as there’s a giant pony approaching further.
“Someone save us!” Another woman said before she continued running away in fear.
Twilight Sparkle and Rarity look at each other, confused over why the humans are running away from a giant pony, which might have been someone they met in the past, and this looks bad for the citizens.
“I don’t see a single giant pony insight.” Rarity said, refusing to believe there is a single giant around.
Unfortunately, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle felt the ground below them shaking even louder compared with the last time they heard it and then a large shadow was looming over them. They then heard a loud evil laugh coming from behind them as the large giant unicorn fired magic blasts at buildings with her horn.
“Rarity, you might wanna turn around, like, now…” Twilight Sparkle told Rarity with a worried look on her face.
“What the hell do you mean, darling?” Rarity asked Twilight Sparkle despite the fact she didn’t had her eyes open at all.
Twilight Sparkle and Rarity turned around and when looked up, they screamed just as they saw a giant evil Fire Flare attacking the city and she made many buildings catch fire using her magic without firing a single blast.
“Oh, no! Fire Flare is attacking the city!” Rarity told Twilight Sparkle as she began freaking out that Fire Flare would turn evil and be placed under a dark spell.
“When I attack a city, I shall destroy it completely and every one will burn right along with these useless, pathetic structures I find nothing!” Fire Flare said, stomping and crushing buildings underneath her hooves and firing magic beams at other buildings, killing anyone inside those buildings.
Fire Flare laughed more evilly as she wanted to see the world burning as she would cause destruction all over San Francisco. Her eyes are red and her magic is also red, and that means she must destroy all her enemies that are in her path.
Twilight Sparkle and Rarity look horrified as they witness the terror Fire Flare is causing right now.
“Rarity, we gotta get someplace safe where Fire Flare can’t spot us so easily, and fast.” Twilight Sparkle told Rarity as she teleports her and Rarity into the Transamerica Pyramid building, which was still safe.
Once inside the building, in which nobody was in it anyway because Fire Flare was attacking the city, Twilight Sparkle and Rarity are on the top floor, witnessing the giant unicorn pony who is still harming the tinies as Fire Flare eventually killed some as they cannot run away from her that quickly.
“Damn, look at her! Just killing those innocent people who have done nothing towards her! This is a complete massacre!” Rarity told Twilight Sparkle, angered over what she is seeing.
“Yeah, this is very bad and we gotta stop her before everything and everyone dies.” Twilight Sparkle said, determining what is best on how they can stop Fire Flare from rampaging through San Francisco entirely.
Back outside, several tinies continued trying the best they could saving themselves as Fire Flare continued targeting them and plan on killing more as they can’t escape from her.
“And now, time I capture one of you and then destroy you with my magic so that I can enjoy my show filled with terror and scream!” Fire Flare levitated a man wearing a blue suit, brown shoes and black glasses.
“Hey, let me go, you evil unicorn!” The man yelled, struggled breaking free though it was useless doing so, just as Fire Flare brought him towards her.
Fire Flare cackles loudly as she was satisfied she captured a tiny like how she wanted.
“What a surprise! You’ll be my first victim that’ll end up dying from my magic, and you can’t call out for the other humans that can help you! They’re too busy running away from my destruction!” Fire Flare told the man, having him caught with her magic, and she would kill right now as much as she wants.
“Just let us be…” The man begged Fire Flare while kicking his feet in the air, but unfortunately, Fire Flare was annoyed as she does not spare any enemies, no matter how much they believe it would be enough to save themselves from her killing them all.
“No, I’m not letting you worthless bugs live.” Fire Flare declined the man’s forgiveness, as he doesn’t realize she is evil and her eyes are red. “I’m doing this for Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon and they want me doing them just one single thing: wiping out all you humans from existence, starting with you!”
Fire Flare threw the man back on the ground with her magic. The man opened up his eyes and realized that Fire Flare activated her magic and she was ready to finish him off.
“No, no, no!” The man said with a very worried look on his face.
“You’re going straight to hell!” Fire Flare fired a huge magic blast at the man, and even though tried the best he could getting away with it, it was no use.
The man was destroyed instantly, and nobody could save him in time, and Fire Flare watched the man die in a sad way with an evil grin look on her face. She was very happy that she is killing more tinies so she can be satisfied with both herself and her destruction.
With everything going what she has imagined, Fire Flare started walking, shaking the ground really loud with every single booming hoofsteps, leaving her massive hoof prints on the streets.
Wanting everything dead, Fire Flare could only do nothing except kill the tinies with her magic, crush, stomp and destroy buildings and vehicles with her hooves and her magic.
“I, Fire Flare, can tell where you humans are hiding!” Fire Flare said, firing a magic blast at people inside homes and other buildings, killing them, knowing that this hide-and-seek game is not going to work on her at all.
Fire Flare really loves destroying things and killing people as her hobby. She kept on walking as the tinies ran away from her still. She was so dangerous, she finds herself unstoppable. While she continued strolling her way through San Francisco, though, Twilight Sparkle and Rarity stood in her way, and it appears they are ready for a fight against her, even though she was not in the mood dealing with the two ponies.
“Fire Flare, we can’t let you do this anymore! This ends now!” Twilight Sparkle told Fire Flare, having grown tired watching all the destruction she has caused towards the poor little ones.
“And the showdown is between you and us!” Rarity declared a two-on-one battle.
“Oh, you both wanna fight me even though you two can’t stop me at all?” Fire Flare asked Twilight Sparkle and Rarity, seeing they are giving her no choice except fight them the hard way. “As you wish. Just remember, you both are gonna suffer right along with these tinies you said you would protect!”
Twilight Sparkle and Rarity unleashed their magic at Fire Flare and so did Fire Flare unleashing hers towards the two smaller ponies, resulting in a magic beam clash.
“Rarity, as long as we work together and push our magic hard enough, we might defeat Fire Flare in no time! Just stay with me!” Twilight Sparkle told Rarity, knowing that teamwork is the only thing best they can win.
“I heard you, darling.” Rarity responded, agreeing with what Twilight Sparkle told her.
Working together and use all the power they have, Twilight Sparkle and Rarity increased the magic twice as normal, pushing Fire Flare’s magic back.
Fire Flare was angered when she knew that her magic would be coming closer towards her.
“Are they pushing my magic back?” Fire Flare wondered what the two ponies are plotting against her, probably something she doesn’t know about. “If they think I’m gonna let defeat me so easily like this… they must be mistaken!”
Increasing her magic times three, Fire Flare pushed Twilight and Rarity’s magic back.
“Damn it! She just increased her magic some a bit!” Rarity warned Twilight Sparkle that Fire Flare has just pushed her and Twilight’s magic back, sending it towards them.
“I forgot. We gotta be extra, extra careful whenever Fire Flare increases her magic.” Twilight Sparkle said, as she would need a little boost with her magic and Rarity’s magic, too.
“Okay, let us try this on for size!” Rarity increased her magic times five whereas Twilight Sparkle still has her magic at times two.
Rarity’s magic being bigger, however still barely pushed Fire Flare’s magic anywhere back.
“That won’t be enough to push hers back, so I’m gonna need to increase my magic bigger, too!” Twilight Sparkle said, making her magic go times seven.
With Twilight Sparkle having her magic increased times seven, Rarity decided she should increase her magic times eight. As Rarity increased her magic times eight, two ponies’ magic combined together pushed Fire Flare’s magic further.
Fire Flare knew that Rarity and Twilight Sparkle are almost close to being victorious, and she had to do something to prevent the two ponies from winning.
“Fine, if you won’t let me win, I guess I gotta make my magic go times six! Try and handle this if you can!” Fire Flare increased her magic times six, pushing Twilight and Rarity’s magic back once again.
“What?! How does she keep pushing it back towards us?!” Rarity was shocked at how Fire Flare continues finding ways increasing her magic and keep it in touch with the other two ponies’ magic every time they increase it together.
“I’ve had enough of this struggling!” Twilight Sparkle said, deciding she shall push hers at the maximum level. “Rarity, time we expand our magic into the highest number possible!”
Rarity understood what Twilight Sparkle told her, and so they are ready to finish things now.
“Times ten!” Twilight Sparkle and Rarity improved their magic combined together and make the number reach twenty, and push the magic towards Fire Flare for good.
“No! No!” Fire Flare saw Rarity and Twilight’s magic growing larger and quickly come towards and then it hit her horn really hard, pushing her body back.
Seeing an opening chance, Twilight Sparkle flies into the air and attack with a finishing blow.
“Take this!” Twilight Sparkle fired a super magic blast at Fire Flare while she was still caught off-guard.
Fire Flare regained herself some confidence, but as she got up on four hooves again, she saw Twilight’s super magic blast wave coming right at her, and then pushed it struck her in the chest hard.
“Damn it! I didn’t think I would lose…!” Fire Flare said, admitting defeat as she collapsed on the streets and she reverted back to her normal size.
Now that they have defeated Fire Flare and set her free from the dark spell Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon have placed her on, Fire Flare is back on the good side again. Twilight Sparkle and Rarity checked in on her, knowing that she is knocked out cold.
“I’m just so glad we have Fire Flare back on the good side, the one and true respective side where she belongs.” Rarity told Twilight Sparkle, seeing that the darkness inside Fire Flare is forever gone, at least for now.
“With the help from you, I owe you some thanks.” Twilight Sparkle told Rarity, hugging her for the hard teamwork and hard effort they have put in together.
“It is such a pleasure, darling.” Rarity said.
Twilight Sparkle and Rarity see that San Francisco is safe, but there’s still other cities they must protect around the world.
“While we have freed her from one of Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon’s dark spells, the mission is not over yet.” Twilight Sparkle remembers that everyone else are still across the world, where the two evil corrupted alicorns will track them down wherever they are.
“That’s right.” Rarity replied back, as they started walking away from the unconscious Fire Flare, knowing they must resume with what they’ve been doing.
Though Twilight Sparkle and Rarity have successfully saved San Francisco and Fire Flare from the darkness controlling her the entire time, it will still take a long time until they can finally catch Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon, but how long until Twilight Sparkle and her friends can find the two evil alicorns who have been turning their friends evil?
