This is one of the things I love about the character. In addition to this being adorable (and I know it’s a Seinfeld reference), she’s such an opinionated, proud little nerd in Season 1. She’s sarcastic, she has zero social skills, and she doesn’t care what anyone thinks. In later seasons she turns more and more into a purple Mary Sue, culminating into turning into a Disney princess with wings–but sarcastic S1 Purplesmart, with her little knowing looks at the audience, and her schtick of the knowing pause in homage to Jack Benny, will always be my poni waifu.
