The wine discussion gets even better when you notice that Trixie doesn’t even seem to be drinking it, which means Starlight just brought an entire bottle of wine for herself.
Which actually seems like a very reasonable course of action when preparing to have a conversation with Trixie.
XD
Also yeah, Trixie doesn’t seem like a fancy wine pony, so I gave her some sort of mixed drink.

Solar Supporter - Fought against the New Lunar Republic rebellion on the side of the Solar Deity (April Fools 2023).

Prior to Luna’s return, years were counted since her banishment. We are now in the 12 year of the Second Era of The Sisters.
Yes, I like that idea of yours and GreyPon3’s. Counting from Luna’s banishment, and then starting over when she came back makes perfect sense.
I probably should have changed the date. That might be too nice a wine for that place. XD
Yeah, that looks like a place college kids get pizza and beer. Maybe Starlight brought it with her, like GreyPon3 suggests. Since she’s working with Luna now, maybe it was reccommended by her (or even a gift?). I wonder if Starlight paid corkage, or if the pizza place even knows what that is…

Yay, a new scene! Looks like maybe a pizza parlor? Hopefully it’s cheaper (i.e. easier to render) than that other restaurant.
But the real question in my mind is, what event do Equestrians count their years from? We count with 0 being 4 years after Christ’s birth. The Romans counted “ab urbe condita”, “from the founding of the city”. So if they’re drinking a Chateau Cheval vintage 987, what happened 987 or so years ago in Equestria to make that the starting point?

I bet most villains never see themselves as such, provided they don’t take the time to reflect.
Reminds me of the Gollum conundrum;
‘I wonder if he thinks he’s the hero or the villain?’
Though in that case, we never found out.
