While at BronyCon, I was lucky to catch the burlesque show put on by Tavern Purlesque.

Funny enough, although the live performance of “Why Don’t You Do Right” was a fantastic performance, this made me want to actually read the book. And holy balls did we miss out on a lot. In the book Jessica and Roger did not have a happy marriage, and quite frankly the fan porn of Jessica is closer to the reality. No Judge Doom either, but the villain was still just as surprising. I feel like the lore from the book, added to the movie, could make an amazing series. Disney tried with Bonkers but could have done so much better.

Why make this staring Moondancer…. Because she is a cute little book nerd.
