It’s because she’s been there. It was a tumultuous time in her life, but she knows what they are going through and how to help them through their problems and difficulties. She shows them that not everyone thinks they are a monster, and knows that it is love, not anger, that will save these misguided souls.
Or she’s just a bottomless well of love, that could be the reason.
