Been drawing a lot more and I’ve been thinking about color a lot, thanks to James Gurney’s book Color & Light. I haven’t been very happy with the coloring and shading of my comic lately, but I don’t want to go to Black and White– not yet at least. Really, I want to get this stuff done faster. I love this comic but I want it to finish within the year. I’m gonna be trying a few different strategies to increase workflow without compromising quality too much. One thing I want to try is a monochromatic scheme (based on the setting) with an accent color. This is the first page to implement that.
