I’m Cloppy Hooves. I’m just a BP because I didn’t feel like logging in. I don’t use this site anymore. I haven’t for a long time. Site is run by a crazy jackass.
I’m just here because I was linked to this and was concerned.

Likes and dislikes are subjective. You draw a lot of niche fetish content that a lot of people aren’t into. Naturally those people are going to dislike it. It’s why likes and dislikes don’t matter in the long run.

There is no such thing as right or wrong direction. While a lot of people might not be into the weird mud stuff, there are some people who are. If you are drawing what you want to draw and get even just a small following of people who like the same thing, that’s what matters.

Every time I post something on my current site that I use I get featured. I’ve got stuff with hundreds of likes. But the thing is I’m not always enjoying my work. I often have to draw things that I’m not into at all and I’m telling you right now, those likes aren’t going to make you happy. Stop gauging your self worth by likes. It’s not healthy.

My advice for you is to stop worrying about likes. Likes don’t do anything, so you shouldn’t do what you do for likes. Do what you do because you enjoy it. The things you draw are a very niche thing that not a lot of people are looking for. It’s rather unfair and toxic to go after someone else’s OC like they did something wrong just for making something that clicked with people. Being petty and spiteful like that is only going to draw negativity towards you and ultimately make things worse for yourself.
