I put the blame more on Hasbro, who didn’t think and plan accordingly with this generation. Even I hate to admit it, post-ANG was when things really fell down. When i watched MYM, I realized it is even better when you take away the G4 mindset and see it as its own universe. However, the G4 references reminding me that it’s in the same world sort of takes that feeling away unfortunately. I myself stopped watching TYT because of the whack schedule. I do hope G6 brings that positive magic back, but given how Hasbro is doing rn, we may not see it for a while :/

Probably, but seeing how majority of the fandom deems the show trash, I can’t be so sure.
And I know people are pissed at me for talking shit about the general fandom because not everyone is like this but this is how I’m seeing things. With the end of MYM, the long gaps between each episode of TYT (which funnily I don’t even watch anymore), and the severe lack of positive interactions toward anything MLP, it’s hard to enjoy anything, even the fanarts.

This is why I shall introduce people to better shows like Bluey, where it actually talks about heavy subjects in a mature manner while still being an innocent fun-loving show with a lot of jokes and tender moments that make you tear up.

Precisely why those burgeoning fim fans really struck quite the sore spot. Everything they’ve experienced through G5 was simply all for nothing. What started as gaining fandom momentum, has surely nosedived in rapid succession. Going forward until G6 occurs, I doubt they’ll trust their judge of brony character ever again.

Not even close. Hasbro got everything about G5 wrong and chances are Hasbro just changed focus and made G5 mlp targeted towards 8-year-old girls again so mlp’s time in the spotlight is officially over with the end of G4’s fim.
That’s why many of the fim fans have already left the fandom and aren’t really hanging around Derpibooru very much anymore.
Hasbro just basically told the fim fans, “The show’s over. Go home.” with G5’s mlp.

I know, right? Talk about borderline cutthroat recipe for disaster. We should learn to treasure G5 more often, no matter how lackluster the series sequel might sound to anyone.

I love G5, but I think there’s more insulting things people have said then saying they hate a kids cartoon and express their disdain in the form of poorly constructed photoshopping
