Hello there,

Each chapter of the comic project “The Princess of Love” having a different artist, I have to hire many people to help me drawing them. The majority of them have never drawn comics in their life, therefore, I give them a test to teach them what they should expect in that project.

The test being to redraw one of my sketches as if it was a panel from the comic. That way, we can figure the strengths and weaknesses of the art style and adjust it if needed.

As said in the description, I give a test to artists I might work with by asking them to illustrate one of my sketches as it was a panel, so I can figure their strengths and weaknesses, and the artist learn what to expect of the project.
This picture, made by Faline, and the one you linked, happened to be two tests based on the same sketch, that’s it. By looking at my galery, you can see similar cases with other artists, and there will be even more to come.
