I thought that Brotherhood of Steel was the crappy, non-canonical game that buried the franchise until Bethesda brought it back. But I’m not much of a fan so I could be wrong.

If you mean Fallout Tactics, well I liked Fallout Tactics. Actually I’m going to be extra heretical and admit it’s the only Fallout game I’ve ever finished. I kinda just trailed off one and two as the gameplay was meh.
 
I’ve always been a tactical game guy and having a larger team in more linear, but detailed missions really appealed to me. The inclusions of vehicles was fun too, I don’t care what you say advancing my power armored fire team behind a tank to blast killer robots was fun as hell. Actually I had far more fun PLAYING tactics then any other Fallout game. (and Truth be told most of the canon “problems” people harp on are nitpicks or hilariously easy to rationalize.)
 
I love tactical games like that with significant team management, and Tactics was a well built one. It’s fully canon in my head and still probably my fave of the series since it was a game I played as a “kid” and really enjoyed.

0/10 would conquer that nuclear wasteland.

dunno if notable enough, just nice to have  
a) a hetero female protagonist and b) since we have Stable ponies (FOE and PH), Slaves (MN7), Surfacer Ponies (Heroes etc), might as well have (former) Enclave  
(also, that gem’s supposed to be on the Scope’s business end, not at the muzzle :s )
