Yep, schizocanon Trimmel

Born in 957 in Gardis, in a family of exiled Lyctidian high ranking officer. Being an poster child of newly formed Hivean military elite, he eventually moved to Vesalipolis to attend the highly prestigious Royal infantry academy, which he successfully graduated with a gold medal in a year of 982 - the same year the Chrysalis herself (still being only a heir to the throne) finished her formal education at the same place.

Friendship with the future queen paid off later: after Chrysalis coronation in 990 some of the officers from the infamous “class of 982” rapidly rose in ranks, forming a sort of shadow government known between the participants as “common cause”. In the year of 991 Trimmel acquired a position of a head of Western military district, finally be able to return to his historical homeland of Lyctida, getting a spacious flat in a newly built high rise building for him and his family (wife and two kids).

During the first half of 990-s Trimmel conducted several covert-ops in Severyana, familiarizing himself not only with current Equestrian military doctrine, but with ideas of socialism through his friendship with Alexander Voronykh - now a young revolutionary, but the ambassador of Severyana in Hive in the future.

The turn of the new millenia, brought tribulations to the region. Active participation in Equestrian “troubles” of the year of 1000, followed by a major reccession of the pony’s economy, on which Hive was highly dependant on, brought the changeling land to the state of the Great hunger of 1001-1002, claiming lives of thousands upon thousands of subjects. As an act of desperation Queen Chrysalis and the “common cause” generals conducted a military operation - defacto an open war against Equestria, later known as the Canterlot catastrophe.
