Honestly, I think the CMC are just a grade or two younger thus why they are in the school.
So, would Marzipan be Fluttershy?
What are we supposed to call them then? For now, all we know is that they are analogs to the characters we know like Pinkie Pie, Sweetie Belle, Vinyl, etc.
Until we have more information on who they are, it’s much easier than saying “Human-ish Girl With Pink Hair That Acts Just Like Party Pone”
