Didn’t the writers say she was an absolute psychopath who was irredeemable?
You guys gotta get over it.

Seriously, when asked why she did what she did, Cozy doubled down on being evil. If she said sorry, they would’ve forgiven her on the spot.
She. Is. Evil. End of story.

By the way, this topic is so important to me that I emailed Jim Miller in as polite of a way as I could. I told him that some people take the ending of this episode as a lesson that killing defenseless people is okay. I want to know what he thinks of that, because the episode’s creative decisions were so notoriously bad that people who LIKED the episode see it as a defense of violence. I’m curious if he’ll agree that it was or condemn that interpretation.
But if he condemns that interpretation, he condemns the episode, right?! Since that’s how most people see it? If he no longer thinks it should be canon: it won’t be in any real sense. What do you think will happen?
I’ll tell you what he said, if he tells me I’m allowed to. And don’t worry, I was respectful.

Your words not theirs, friend. Nothing to discuss if you’re not out to have an honest discussion.
I didn’t read “brain disorders” anywhere in there.
And what would you do with someone - not a whole category of people, but a specific someone - whose behavior has the qualities of 1. being a legitimately plausible threat of ending the world and your entire way of life as you know it, and 2. is not correctable to the best of anyone’s abilities and knowledge because they lack something in their essential makeup that would make it fixable? Like, you KNOW this is what they’re always inclined to do, they don’t have a fundamental ability to perceive it as ‘wrong’ so they have no honest disincentives anyone can work on to get them not to just keep trying to destroy things forever, and there’s nothing that can be done to change that about them?
Drawing lines sucks emotionally, I get it.
You feel bad for the kid who you think is just a kid.
I don’t know what could ever convince you otherwise, so I’m not gonna try.
Just gonna say, I don’t know about that other commenter you’re pissed at, but I can tell you I vote.
I vote against unempathetic, society-destroying psychopaths.
I vote to stone, or at least cast out of office, the Cozy Glows of the world, because I have friends, and I’ve watched the Cozy Glows among us do what they do best long enough to the people I care about. Caring is something the Cozy Glows, you must remember, are incapable of, so why should I care about them? They have no innate sense of a social contract, and if they don’t have a contract with society to not go around hurting people and creating rifts that strip away all the magic and all the friendship from our world, they deserve none of the benefits and reciprocal protections that come with such a contract.
Cozy Glow was in the show as a villain because she was a lesson about the nature of some (not all, but some) villains. Some people can change. Some people can’t/won’t. Not all villains get a redemption arc, and that’s a tough pill to swallow. You’re never going to like it. Sorry.

Yep, they sure did stone you, and they were right to.
Child psychopathy’s a bitch because we all want to help kids, but you can’t help someone who just doesn’t have the brain wiring to be helped.
And I’m sure this take on your fate won’t be controversial at all, but there it is. You got the best that could be done with you, honestly.
