Women earn less because they willingly work less hours and the differences are so minute and varied they are statistically insignificant. In other words, should you apply as a women or a man in a certain job, all things being equal, you will get paid at the same rate. What won’t be the same is the amount of ours each one works.
 
To further illustrate this, look up statistic on women business owners.

If I had to hazard a really, REALLY longshot guess, I would say that the reason women earn less than men is due to assholes in society. Just like the mosquito, they serve little to no purpose in a society. Their problems are so acrid, it corrupts everything around them and thus breeding more assholes. They should be purged.
