this is the most complicated artwork i have drawn as of now. this is hell of a work here. i hope you enjoy as much as i do. this one is an edit, it has some shades of grey in the mane, in the cutie mark, in the eyes and in the acessories :)

yea, but as i said, i only use this trick for the outline and sometime it almost doesn,t show on the sheet and because i dont want to break my computer screen. I progressively try to work whitout it, as it will help me making better artwork and making non-static ponies.
Trace like… you place a piece of paper infront of a screen or something, showing a drawing. Then following the lines :)
trace? if you mean like copy pasting with the pen on the sheed, kind of… I drew a really basic layout for the ponies shape, then i work the inside all by eye and by hand. then i refine my lines, make them darker and put some shades here and there
