Observation time: it’s not really the shipping that bothers me more but the douchebaggy expressions on the male characters. Their focus is NOT on the supposed love interest but towards the audience, like a signal saying (I’ve stole your waifu) another notch on my belt so to speak.
 
Characters that are shipped and set a romantic mood do NOT kiss with their eyes open unless taken by surprise. Having the eyes open and looking at the fourth wall or off focus from the partner just ruins the mood and shows that he is a creep.
 
Sorry for the rant but this shit irks as an art practice especially with these sonic x-overs. Half the time, I wonder if the artists that do this ever fell in love or even know how to passionately kiss a girl before.
 
As a crossover shipper myself, would never ever put a douchebag expression on the guys unless he was written as a dbag.
