Perhaps you’ve noticed how a lot of background characters are immensely popular, often despite having just one line of dialogue, or sometimes even none at all. This is literally the last fandom ever to condemn a character for being in the “background.”
He was a background character
He’d been in two episodes. Same as… Braeburn, I think, and Fancypants, and Soarin and virtually all the male supporting role characters. So if Equestria is a pure meritocracy, the jerk must’ve done something to earn it.
