We’ve met several characters of different ethnicity in the show (equivalents of Asian, African and Arab people) and they were immediately distinguishable from the general pony populace.

Diversity artists don’t give a shit, go and randomly assign ethnicities to the Mane 6 and if you point the inconsistency out, you get lynched as a “racist”.
