I think Applejack was more put off by the freakish dom/slave that was going on and about how rough Rarity was being than the reasons you stated. Though, only the author knows what was going through their minds

Did Rainbow ever make an effort to escape or stop following AJ’s orders? No. Screaming no can sometimes mean ‘I want more but I shouldn’t’. that’s why BDSM couples use safewords. So they don’t stop the scene/action every time the word no is muttered.
 
And it’s still different because Rarity forced AJ’s hoof. Blackmailing is way different than ordering someone and that person cooperating
