The book was fantastic up until the last third or so (this is a problem I consistently have with his longer works, his short stories are usually fantastic though), the miniseries with Tim Curry however I’m of the opinion isn’t very good. However, I’m also certain that its the source of my coulrophobia.

Screaming is a justifiable reaction to all clowns, at all times. Because clowns are evil. Fact: All clowns are insane, worship Satan and don’t understand magnetism. This is because clown being unholy eldritch monstrosities from beyond time and space see by way of the electrical impulses in the brains of their prey. Magnets screw it up.
I would….
do you prefer tears from the cyclopes?
