In the artist’s headcanon, Twilight renounced her princess title but Celestia was uncharacteristically bitter and petty about this. So along with getting rid of her wings she also stripped her of her horn and her cutie mark, making her a blank flank earth pony. Spike gets banished and she becomes an emo pony.
The artist clearly hates Twilicorn and Celestia equally so why not depict the tyrant as a cruel and unjust ruler and strip Twilight of not only her title, but her closest friend and magic at the same time!

Whenever Celestia goes into “Bat” mode, she seems to forget that she has a still living sister, often referring saying right to her face “No, you were gunned down too. I remember that night.”
Luna’s kind of annoyed about it. After all, if anypony should be the night its her. Sadly nocturnal royal duties keep Luna from even being a sidekick in Celestia’s one mare war against crime.
