oh. also. as far as visual designs on vocaloids go, only two are actually good so far. Ia, and Aoki Lapis. the others were ruined by a certain design choice those two lacked.

i’m gonna go ahead and say the one thing nobody wants to hear. G1 vocaloids suck.
 
..or at the least, NOBODY CAN USE VOCALOIDS RIGHT IN GENERAL. you do not just throw lyrics at the program, let it make the song, and then upload as is. you tweak the audio to all hell afterward so it actually sounds right.
 
its like character generators. most vocaloid songs uploaded are like characters made in a generator and left as is afterward. poor quality, with no real creativity.
 
GOOD vocaloid songs are like how Ive made my 3 pony OCs. I made prototypes in a generator, then added onto those or tweaked them to add details the generator couldn’t do, to flesh them out. you take what the program gave you, and you mess with it to draw out the real potential.
 
as if to add to this problem vocaloid music makers have, the ONE GOOD song ive heard that was EDITED properly..that was so good I had to actually listen closely to be sure it was actually artificial singing..was taken off youtube at some point.
